I actually think it’s made of rayon. It is also strangely stiff. I don’t think it’s ever been worn or washed

This garment has confused me. It is absolutely a 20s style, but it doesn’t feel like it, you know what I mean? Plus, there is a size tag in the back, which isn’t a 20s thing. It doesn't feel like silk, which is what it would have been made of in the 20s, but I also can’t find any evidence that these were a thing in the 40s. Maybe 30s? Its definitely old, I just can’t pin it down.
