At first glance, you may think this is a coat – but its not. It’s a dress! It does have the weight of a lightweight jacket, so it will be warm to wear, and some people like that sort of thing.
Excellent vintage condition.
No fabric content label; would say it is a wool or wool blend. Does have a nubby texture like wool boucle
Fully lined. Probably acetate
Velvet collar and buttons
Princess seams
Two back pleats on either side of seams
All buttons present and accounted for
Real pockets under the pocket welts, but they have not ever been opened
Black braided trim throughout. Makes for some neato details
“Fit and flare” style
Faux crinoline underneath skirt
Has shoulder pads
Seam to close located around hip length, so that makes it a dress!
