Fabric is Raw silk with genuine SiBonne! lining (That's what the label says)
It has princess seams and a lightly gathered straight skirt
There is checkerboard smocking detail on the neckline yoke
Belt with pink piping trim on the collar, yoke, and belt. Cummerbund type belt with hook and thread closure. Looks like someone added another set of thread to make the belt smaller.
Dress also has a stand up collar and long set-in sleeves that end in cuffs with a button closure
While researching this particular dress, I discovered that this designer, Eleanor Brenner only just died back in April of 2023! She is considered a pioneer in creating ready-to-wear for petites, as well as day to evening dressing. Very interesting!
